Bulwark by Earl-Graey
Bulwark
Been a while since we had a good old fashioned warbot around here eh? Time to fix that right up.

Wanted to try my hand at photobashing since it isn't something I really do a lot other than to add a bit of texture here and there. I wasn't as quick as I would have liked but I definitely learned a lot!

Take 2 on the theme! I wanted better mood and setting which the last one felt somewhat lacking in, I think there is more than a little Brom influence in here too but that works just fine for me haha.

Done over who knows how many hours in PS CS6

Howdy all!
This is a project I am doing some work for with some super cool dudes. If you like sarcasm, vaguely retro gaming humor, sassy assassins/bounty hunters/bad-asses and heaping spoonfuls of various ninja flavored minions this is defenitely the comic for you. If that sounds like your jam you should head on over and show the project some love!
Support My Patreon and get process videos, PSDs, production art and best of all 2 comics for the price of one. I promise you won't be disappointed. www.patreon.com/StabbGunner
Howdy all! I am currently wrapping up a pretty large project (some pieces of which I will be putting up in the next few days!) so I am opening up a few commission slots! If you are interested in getting some pieces from me feel free to shoot me a note or email me at GEillustration@gmail.com. (email is probably better as I don't always check my DA notes) Will update this again when they are full.

Also, I wrote up a general pricing guide! This isn't going to give you an exact number but it is a good starting point of what to expect. You can check it out here: Commission Info and General Pricing Guide

Thanks all!

I have a question. I have this ranger character that lives in an all-winter world. So where would her quiver go? 46 LU'THEA; BODY CONCEPT 7c by TheSkaldofNvrwinter

The cloak seems too bulky to have it over it, and under it would never work.

If you don't want the extra strap going over the cloak the next best place to put it would likely be a belt hung quiver like so. Another option might be to have some slits in the cloak for the straps to go through on a back mounted quiver, I believe there are some LotR costumes that do that when they aren't simply wrapping them around the edges.

I was thinking of this, but I'm not sure it's realistic: quiver high on the hip--as your link showed--and the scabbard slung lower on the hip. She's tall and long-limbed, but the sword is a two-hander. I did research on how long longswords are, and the blade itself would come up to her groin--if the tip was resting on the ground--at least, so it's a hefty weapon. I was thinking the scabbard would also be hindered by the heavy furred cloak. I'm SURE there's some such reference SOMEWHERE on the net lol. Showing a ranger type in heavy winter gear.
